From June 30 to July 5, Man Shengang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, conducted field research in places like Weifang, Jinan, Jining and Liaocheng, visiting subsidiaries including Weichai Group, SINOTRUK, Shantui, and Zhongtong Bus. He sought to gain a comprehensive understanding of these enterprises' production operations, market expansion, technological innovation, internal management, and party building activities.
At Weichai Group, Man Shengang conducted research at various R&D and manufacturing bases, including the intelligent manufacturing factory for high-end heavy-duty vehicle engines, the large-bore high-speed engine factory, the large-bore medium-speed engine factory, the product testing center, the additive manufacturing innovation center, the quality standards laboratory, and the cast and forge center for large-bore engine.
At SINOTRUK, Man Shengang visited the three major parks in Laiwu, Zhangqiu, and Jining, where he researched the intelligent connected (new energy) heavy truck manufacturing base, Jining commercial vehicle company, Jinan commercial vehicle company, light truck company, axle company, engine plant, transmission plant, and special vehicle company.
At Shantui, Man Shengang toured the production lines for bulldozers, road machinery, and large excavators, as well as the Intelligent Construction Research Institute.
At Zhongtong Bus, Man Shengang examined the production bases for light buses and medium to large buses.
